There’s the possibility that Samsung will release its next high-end tablets in the third quarter of this year. The lineup is expected to include two models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
A leak has surfaced, revealing the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S12+. It will feature a bigger battery than its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10+.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ has two battery variants, as in EB-BX846AAE and EB-BX846AAY. The two batteries have a rated capacity of 10,392mAh. Since the marketed battery capacity in Samsung devices is usually a bit higher than the rated capacity, there’s the possibility that the upcoming tablet will feature a typical capacity of around 10,500mAh or even 10,600mAh. This would make it about 4% to 5% larger than the battery in the Galaxy Tab S10+.
For the past few years, Samsung has launched Plus-branded Galaxy tablets with 12.4-inch displays. This means that the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to bring a similar 12.4-inch OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The device is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500+ processor. It’s expected to have at least 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a microSD card slot.
Furthermore, there are other features normally found on high-end Galaxy tablets. They include: a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a bundled S Pen stylus with an IP68 rating, and support for at least 45W fast wired charging. For now, there’s no information about the tablet’s camera features.
